The Materials Science and Physics group of Wiley is offering a Trainee position based in Beijing.

The Materials Science and Physics group of Wiley is offering a Trainee position based in our Beijing office for the internationally renowned, high-impact journals Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, Small, pss a, and pss b. You will gain on-the-job experience in many different aspects of publishing, such as the acquisition and development of journal content (both print and online), peer-review procedures, and contact with authors and referees from all over the world.

Applicants for these positions require a relevant PhD in physics / materials science / chemistry / surface science, and should be self-motivated, have excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal), be diplomatic, flexible, and familiar with text and graphics computer applications. The applicants must be fluent in Chinese and have an excellent command of the English language. International postdoctoral experience and/or previous publishing experience would be advantageous.

The position will be based in Beijing. The successful candidate will be trained in our Beijing office, but may spend some time at our Wiley-VCH offices in Weinheim and Berlin.
