Interested in a career in scientific publishing? Wiley-VCH’s Chemistry journals are looking for an assistant editor (f/m) (Ref.-No. 9/2012) 

Applicants should be self-motivated, innovative and have the desire to contribute to the development of Energy Technology – an exciting new scientific journal that will cover all facets of generation, conversion, storage and distribution of energy – and to ChemSusChem, a top interdisciplinary rapidly developing journal for research at the interface of chemistry and sustainability. You will be involved in all aspects of the editorial procedures, such as the reviewing process, development of journal content, editing and proof reading of manuscripts, coordination of freelance work, and contacts with authors from all over the world.

Excellent organizational and communication skills, diplomacy, and flexibility are needed.

You have preferably background in chemical engineering or a broad education in chemistry. You should be fluent in English and be familiar with text and graphics PC programs.
