Laura is a Ph.D. researcher at the University of Bristol. Her previous research includes designing tiny particles for the treatment of tumours, and she is currently researching how to teach people about AI and robotics. She previously worked as a data analyst for several big companies, including PwC and Worldpay, which inspired her passion for the power of data and technology. Laura is passionate about ensuring everyone has the technical skills they need for everyday life and their jobs, so she spends a lot of time on teaching and outreach. She also runs a social enterprise, Taught by Humans, which aims to bring technology education and events to those who may otherwise miss out.
