A NEW LOOK, A NEW READ

Small Science will be a premium open access, multidisciplinary journal dedicated to publishing the most impactful research from all areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The journal will feature interdisciplinary original research of high quality and significance and focused review articles for most relevant topics. The highest quality production standards will assure the best possible access to innovative top science that is selected through a strict and fair reviewing process.

Aims and scope

The scope of Small Science is intentionally broad to encompass integrative and collaborative nano research. The journal focuses on design, characterization, mechanism, technology, and application of micro-/nanoscale structures and systems in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering, environmental science, life science, biology, and medicine.

Small Science appreciates the complexity of today´s academia and therefore particularly welcomes cutting-edge innovative interdisciplinary research which pinpoints fundamental challenging issues in disciplinary-specific areas.

The readership includes chemists, physicists, materials scientists, biologists, life scientists, engineers, and environmental and analytical scientists from academia and industry.
