A new layer-by-layer fabrication process allows researchers to create new and improved soft robot actuators with variable degrees of stiffness.
Egor received his B.Sc. in robotics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Russia) and M.Sc. in mechanical engineering at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland) where he is currently doing a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at the Laboratory of Intelligent Systems. His research interests include soft robotics, wearable devices, and variable stiffness technologies.
