The 2018 Journal Citation Reports have been released, and the 2017 impact factors (IFs) for selected sustainability journals are available here. Read below for some of the highlights.

With a big leap to 21.875 (+31%) Advanced Energy Materials crosses the “impact factor 20” landmark for the first time and confirms its position as a top forum for the entire energy research community. The highly-discussed instability issues of perovskite materials for photovoltaics, which were amply featured in the journal, are just one of many examples that contributed to its success. WIREs Water is starting strong with a first IF of 3.943, putting it in the top quartile in its two categories. Check out the top cited articles from the journal at Top Ten WAT2 Articles. Energy Technology has an increased impact factor of 3.175 and is quickly growing into an important home for front-line energy research with recent Special Issues such as Carbon Dioxide Utilization.
