The 2018 Journal Citation Reports have been released, and the 2017 impact factors (IFs) for selected polymer science journals are available here. Wiley’s polymer journals publish research on a wide variety of topics, ranging from polymers for energy-related devices to healthcare systems and technology applications. Read below for highlights.
Macromolecular Rapid Communications has increased its IF to 4.441, once again confirming its position as a top journal publishing original research in general polymer science. One article that has contributed to this success is Single-Chain Folding of Synthetic Polymers: A Critical Update.
Other titles in the Macromolecular series, Macromolecular Bioscience and Macromolecular Materials and Engineering, received excellent IF values of 3.392 and 2.690, respectively, affirming their strong positions in these competitive fields.
The Journal of Applied Polymer Science, the largest scientific publication in polymer science, celebrates the highest IF in the journal’s history, with a new value of 1.901.
