The 2017 Journal Citation Reports have been released and 2016 Impact Factors are now available. Here are some highlights for the field of life science and Impact Factors for a list of selected journals.
PROTEOMICS is the premier international source for information on all aspects of applications and technologies in proteomics, other “omics”, and systems biology approaches. It received a 2016 Impact Factor of 4.04. The related title Proteomics – Clinical Applications, publishes research on applying proteomics to the study of human disease and translation into the clinic, received a 2016 Impact Factor of 3.81, an increase of 28.9%.
Starch-Stärke achieved a 2016 Impact Factor of 1.83, the highest to date for the journal. Having evolved from a focus on traditional processing of starches and their industrial applications, the journal now aims to be the premier point of reference for modern starch and non-starch carbohydrate related research and knowledge.
The high-impact review journal WIREs Computational Molecular Science confirmed its place among the top journals in the field, with an increase of 37% to a 2016 Impact Factor of 14.01. It publishes highlights from all aspects of theoretical and computational chemistry, including analytical, biological, inorganic, organic, physical, and materials.
The European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology covers the whole spectrum of lipid science and technology, including food science and technology, processing, biomedical topics, all flavors of chemistry, and analytics. Its 2016 Impact Factor is 2.14, an increase of 9.8% from 2015.
